Challenge: A significant medical informatics company was bidding on a ten-year Ontario Public Sector refresh initiative as the incumbent and wanted to ensure that its RFP response would be successful as it was worth a large portion of the company's annual revenue.
Findings: We found that most of their RFP content was on the mark; however, the new RFP had additional layers of complexity and scope, making the response more challenging.
Results: We developed a custom template that took the new complexity and scope into account. We recommended multiple review cycles by management, technical stakeholders, and other third parties to ensure all requirements were addressed in such a way as to get maximum points for the answers. The company was successful in winning the RFP.
